How to calculate your volume for less then container load (LCL) Ocean Shipping: 

 

  1. Calculating your cubic feet is need to determine your volume:

    4 simple steps:

    1) Measure the box height (inches) 
    2) Measure the box length 
    3) Measure the box width 
  2. Example:
    24L" x 24W" x 24H" =  13824 

    13824 (÷) 1728 = 8 cubic feet for the box below

    When multiple boxes are palletized, at times they may take up a small amount of dead space which is calculated in the total volume.
